Role of Primary Health Care in Universal Health Coverage

On September 7, I was invited to address the Global Population, Health and Development Congress on the critical role of hashtag#PrimaryHealthCare in achieving hashtag#UniversalHealthCoverage. I presented the hashtag#WorldBank report “Reimagining Primary Health Care for Universal Health Coverage: Walking the Talk” that identified megatrends, four shifts and three reform priorities. I also shared how these reforms can be applied in the Egyptian context and had an interesting exchange with H.E. Minister of Finance of Egypt. The link to my presentation in Arabic is below:
